Dates: This workshop ran for five Saturdays from 10th November 2018 until 8th December 2018. Students developed prints that they could take home and to add to their portfolios.
Workshop Information
TCDT Tutor, Laura Clarke, graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Fine Art Printmaking in 2010. In 2012 she was made a Fellow of the Royal Academy Schools.
Etching is a 500 year old process and still very much used in the world today. Students will learn various techniques during the workshop including, soft ground etching, sugar lift aquatint and will be able to develop prints that they can take home with them to add to their portfolios. They will also learn to consider how works can evoke a powerful emotional, physical and intellectual response that will hopefully inspire then throughout the workshop.
