Students will learn about different clay types and their uses, designing 3D structures in ceramics, ceramic construction, firing and glazing, as well as botanical drawing.
Students will create a joint work of contemporary ceramic flowers to form a stunning table centre and will also have the opportunity to create a few single flowers to keep and add to their portfolio. The main course tutor will be Kevin Millward who is Course Director at Clay College Stoke and has an unrivalled reputation for his teaching and demonstrations in all aspects of ceramic making.
