How to use specialist brushes to improve your painting skills.
The techniques that you will learn during this course can be used for lots of different craft applications, as well as fine art painting and illustration. We will experiment with a different brush each week. As well as learning how to use a range of brushes, you will experiment with painting using glaze medium to create layered effects. In our last session we will paint an image using all of the brushes and techniques that you have learnt. You will learn how to use: fan brushes, stencilling brushes, filbert brushes, sword-liners and riggers.
This workshop will be run by the highly experienced Creative Dimension Trust tutor Sarah Hocombe.
Students must report for group teaching at 9:30am. Classes will finish at approximately 4pm.
