Workshop Information
Engraving is a craft, which is truly versatile and rewarding. Techniques once learned, allow engravers to draw on metal, pulling the eye to a particular area with a single bright cut, or giving a 3-D appearance with carving.
You will learn engraving in its simplest form: mark-making – similar to drawing with a pencil on paper. You will prepare and maintain a set of hand-engraving tools to take home and learn how to use them to create a range of effects.
