Workshop Information

The fourth of a series of employment programme workshops run in collaboration with Fortnum & Mason.
This session will explore what it is like working within the Front of House and Back of House Hospitality departments.
Hospitality Front of House are the restaurants in our business, they cover careers such as a restaurant manager.
Hospitality Back of House refers to our chefs. If you have a passion for cooking, would like to work as a chef or even be on Masterchef, this is a great department to start your career.
Each Fortnums x TCDT Employment Programme workshop will consist of having two different departments speaking to students about their role and growth in the business, what they love doing and some of the challenges. They will also offer career advice should the students wish to grow their career in the said departments. There will be Q&A sessions with each speaker so students can ask specific questions. The session will be followed by lunch.
