I am currently in my 3rd year studying BA Textile Design at De Monfort University. I have a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design, and a Bronze Arts Award from Trinity College London for Silversmithing. I enjoy activities such as painting, cooking, reading and beauty. My creative skills include drawing, illustrative and pattern design and textiles. My career aspirations include designing textiles for interiors using mixed-media methods such as hand/machine stitch and embellishment.

My first workshop was Silversmithing in 2017, I really enjoyed meeting new people, learning new skills, and working with new and exciting materials which is why I decided to do more workshops. I participated in Gilding & Verré Eglomise later that year, Hand Engraving (2018), Upholstery (2020), Gilding on Textiles (2020) and Stenciling (2020). The workshops allowed me to engage with the tutors who are experts in their creative fields and gain an insight into the creative industry, and I was able to discuss my career aspirations in depth with them. TCDT Workshops have helped me to better my design skills, broaden my use materials and develop confidence with the work I produce. During my time at TCDT I learned about the importance of working in a creative field, I now value my work more and feel proud of being part of a wider creative community.
