Workshop Information
Glass casting is the process in which glass is cast into a mould where it solidifies. Throughout this week you will be taught the basics of glass casting and you will create your own piece using this technique.
Rachel Laycock has been a freelance glass artist for 14 years, she has an MA in glass and a BA Hons in Glass and Ceramics. Her work is created through a range of intricate mould making, kiln casting and polishing techniques to create delicate yet powerful pieces.
This workshop is only available to applicants aged 16 to 18.
