Workshop Information

Through this week-long workshop, you will learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment.

With uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house modelmakers you will be challenged to produce an Architectural object of your choice, using various techniques and materials, turning your 2D idea into an elegant and sophisticated, yet practical 3D masterpiece.

You will be encouraged to realise your ideas through traditional modelmaking artistry, using general workshop machinery, such as the CNC milling machine, Spray booth equipment and the Lathe.

Together with this, you will learn the latest techniques within our industry, including 2D and 3D CAD, Laser cutting and 3D Printing.

This workshop is for four students between the ages of 16 to 18.

This workshop has a two stage application process. Students that make it to the second round will be requested to undertake a preparation exercise. Depending on the quality of this work, students will be invited to an interview
