Dates: This online workshop ran from Monday 24th August 2020 to Friday 28th August 2020.
Stencilling is a wall decoration technique used by contemporary artists such as Banksy. Stencilling has been used for centuries to decorate walls, furniture and fabric with designs and patterns. This course will teach you how to make your own stencils and how to apply water-based acrylic paint with a brush to create designs using the stencils that you have made.
This workshop series will be led by the very talented Creative Dimension Trust tutor Sarah Hocombe.
Students must report for group teaching at 10am for a 30 minute tutorial. Following the first session, students will go offline to create their own work. The afternoon session will include private one-to-one sessions, a show and tell, and a briefing for the following day.
