Dates: This workshop ran from Monday 8th August 2022 until Friday 12th August 2022.
You will learn how to create realistic effects in acrylic paint using specialist brushes and materials. You will make a series of samples to keep, and in addition you will add the finishing touches to a Window Display Backdrop, which will be displayed in a central London location in the autumn of 2022. The backdrop will depict an under-the-sea scene.
This workshop will be run by the highly experienced Creative Dimension Trust tutor Sarah Hocombe.
Students must report for group teaching at 10am. Classes will finish at approximately 4:30pm.

Some of the career choices our alumni have pursued include; Architecture, Engineering, Fine Art, Jewellery Making, Art Conservation, Glass Working, Theatre Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design – the list is growing!
In order to be eligible to apply you will need to be 14 – 19 years old during the dates of the workshop.
You should be creative and have good hand-eye co-ordination. In your application you should demonstrate a passion for working with your hands.
You must be able to attend every day of the workshop.
