Design, make and operate your own marionette puppet!

Receive your own puppet making kit in the post containing a puppet skeleton and pre-fabricated puppet control, sculpting materials and tools, paint, brushes, string and other materials to inspire your design process.

You will learn how to design a puppet, how to work with ‘Sculpey’ polymer clay and how to paint with acrylics. You will create your own, unique, sea-themed creature and learn how to bring it to life.

Each day we will focus on a different element of puppet making:

Day 1- Puppet design and maquette making

Day 3- Stringing and operating

This course, run by puppeteer and experienced Creative Dimension Trust tutor Sian Kidd, is suitable for beginners but the kit is adaptable to suit your confidence level.
