Workshop Information
On this 4 day course, artist Jeffrey Sarmiento will guide you through the exciting possibilities of transferring your own drawings, words and images on and in glass. Screen printing is a technique used to apply ink through a photographic stencil, which can be fired permanently to glass. You will also experiment with colour, pattern, mark-making, line and layering to create your own unique printed glass artworks.
Jeffrey Sarmiento is an award winning artist whose expertise is combining glass with multi-layered graphic imagery. He has exhibited around the world, including a solo exhibition at National Glass Centre. Jeffrey is also a Reader at University of Sunderland.
