Dates: This workshop will run on Saturdays for five weeks from Saturday 24th February 2024 until Saturday 23rd March 2024. If the workshop becomes oversubscribed, we will close the application process early.
Working with precious metal is an exciting process, and in this course you will have the opportunity to learn about the craft of silver jewellery making with jeweller Paul Ravn.
You will learn traditional techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering and annealing. During the course you will build your skills and complete a personal piece of jewellery to take home.
Paul Ravn is an expert jeweller, fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths’ and former staff member at London Metropolitan University Jewellery School, the Cass.
This workshop will start daily at 10am and finish at approximately 4:30pm.
This workshop will be held at The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London. The Goldsmiths’ Centre is the UK’s leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths, offers silversmithing and jewellery courses in London.

In order to be eligible to apply you will need to be 14 – 19 years old during the dates of the workshop.
You should be creative and have good hand-eye co-ordination. In your application you should demonstrate a passion for working with your hands.
You must be able to attend every day of the workshop.
