Discover the craftsmanship at the core of Cox London.
This three‑Saturday programme offers rare access to Cox London’s Fabrication and Patination workshops, where their expert makers create pieces for some of the world’s most discerning clients and interiors.
Working directly alongside their artisans, you will learn foundational metalworking techniques, including welding, soldering and forming, using the processes and tools employed in our studio. Each session builds toward a collaborative project that showcases your developing skills and provides an insider’s view of how exceptional pieces are beautifully made in our workshops.
Designed for students who appreciate excellence in craft, this experience offers a sophisticated introduction to the precision, materials, and production methods that define Cox London’s atelier.

Timings
This workshop will start daily at 10am and finish at approximately 4pm. Students will need to bring their own lunch.

TCDT workshops give a chance to develop a range of transferable skills and valuable insight to possible career paths. Some of the career choices our alumni have pursued include; Architecture, Engineering, Fine Art, Jewellery Making, Art Conservation, Glass Working, Theatre Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design – the list is growing!
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible to apply you will need to be 18 – 19 years old during the dates of the workshop.
You should be creative and have good hand-eye co-ordination. In your application you should demonstrate a passion for working with your hands.
You must be able to attend every day of the workshop.

Course Funding
Our workshops are fully-funded by generous sponsors. Places are limited, therefore, we recommend you submit your application as early as possible.
