2018: ARCHITECTURAL MODEL MAKING – LONDON

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects, Two Model Making sessions for one student each. First workshop 23rd July - 27th July 2018 Second workshop 30th July - 3rd August 2018
Two students had the opportunity to learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment, with uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house modelmakers. Click Here for images of this workshop.

2018: STONEWORKING – LONDON

The Building Crafts College, This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2018.
Students had the opportunity to learn to work with traditional stone-carving tools and explore some of the architectural principles of working with stone. Click Here to see images of the workshop.

2018: FURNITURE, GILDING & CABINET MAKING – WINDSOR CASTLE, BERKSHIRE

Windsor Castle, This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2018
The Royal Household has just finished completion of some of the best workshop facilities in the U.K., located in the Home Park adjoining Windsor Castle, and some of The Creative Dimension Trust students were lucky enough to go and utilise these new facilities to learn fantastic new crafts.

2018: METAL CHASING – LONDON

The Goldsmiths' Centre, This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July 2018.
Silversmith Rod Smart brought his skills to The Goldsmith’s Centre where students learned and experimented with a range of techniques to create their own unique relief pieces on metal. Click Here to see images of the workshop.

2018: WORKING WITH WOOD, PLASTER & GOLD LEAF – BUCKINGHAM PALACE, LONDON

Buckingham Palace , This workshop ran for one week from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July 2018.
Four lucky students were able to make their mark on Buckingham Palace as they to played a part in the ten year, multi-million plan to keep the Royal Palace in great condition for years to come. Click Here for images of this workshop.

2018: PUPPETRY DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION – LONDON

2018: SIGN WRITING – LONDON

Dulwich College , This workshop ran for one week from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July
Adam Williamson, an award-winning calligrapher and signwriter, worked with the students of he Creative Dimension Trust to enable them to learn traditional, timeless brushwork and pinstriping techniques. Click here to see images of the workshop.

2018: PRINTING ON GLASS – SUNDERLAND

The National Glass Centre at The University of Sunderland, Four days from Tuesday 3rd April until Friday 6th April 2018.
On this 4 day course, artist Jeffrey Sarmiento guided students through the exciting possibilities of transferring their own drawings, words and images on and in glass. Please click here to see images from the workshop.
