During this workshop, students learned how to fuse metal foil and gild gold leaf onto textiles. Students had the opportunity to fuse metal foil and gild gold leaf onto their own objects during the week.

Three lucky students had the opportunity to learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment, with uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house model makers.

During this multidisciplinary four day workshop, students made perspex candlesticks which will be exhibited in a central London store window display.

Over a packed 3 days, using a variety of materials, students made an array of 3-dimensional static and kinetic structures. Including spherical models and a full-size bamboo tetrahedron and geodesic dome.
