2019: MARBLING – LONDON

Dulwich College, This workshop ran for one week from Monday the 18th February until Friday the 22nd February 2019.
Students got to learn the exciting skill of marbling, which can be used on a range of different materials. Please click here to see images from this workshop.

2018: MARIONETTE MAKING – LONDON

Dulwich College, This workshop ran for five Saturdays from 10th November 2018 until 8th December 2018.
This course taught students to create Marionettes, developing a range of exciting new skills.

2018: ETCHING – LONDON

The City & Guilds of London Art School , This workshop ran for five Saturdays from 10th November 2018 until 8th December 2018. Students  developed prints that they could take home and to add to their portfolios.
Students got to learn about this 500 year old process with Laura Clarke.

2018: GLASS CASTING – SUNDERLAND

The National Glass Centre , This workshop ran for five Saturdays from 6th October 2018 until 3rd November 2018.
Students learned a range of glass casting techniques at the National Glass Centre.

2018: FLAMEWORKING – SUNDERLAND

The National Glass Centre, This workshop ran for five days from Monday 30 July – Friday 3rd August 2018, 10am – 4pm.
Students were able to experiment with a range of techniques using specialist tools, lamps and Borosilicate glass rods where they worked together to create large geometric sculptures. Click Here to see images of this workshop.

2018: ARCHITECTURAL GILDING AT FORTNUM & MASON – LONDON

Fortnum & Mason , This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 13th August to Friday 17th August 2018.
In partnership with Fortnum & Mason, students had the opportunity of working at the Piccadilly store, gilding elements of the frontage with expert guidance from TCDT tutor Rian Kanduth. Click Here to see images of this workshop.

2018: GILDING & VERRE ÉGLOMISÉ – LONDON

The City & Guild of London Art School , This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 6th August to Friday 10th August 2018.
Rian Kanduth tutored students at The City & Guilds of London in the art of Gilding & Verré Eglomisé.

2018: ARCHITECTURAL MODEL MAKING – LONDON

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects, Two Model Making sessions for one student each. First workshop 23rd July - 27th July 2018 Second workshop 30th July - 3rd August 2018
Two students had the opportunity to learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment, with uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house modelmakers. Click Here for images of this workshop.

2018: GILDING & VERRE ÉGLOMISÉ – BURGHLEY HOUSE, LINCOLNSHIRE

Burghley House, This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2018

2018: STONEWORKING – LONDON

The Building Crafts College, This Workshop ran for one week from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August 2018.
Students had the opportunity to learn to work with traditional stone-carving tools and explore some of the architectural principles of working with stone. Click Here to see images of the workshop.
