2021: Jewellery Making

This Workshop ran 17 April 2021 – 22 May 2021

During this workshop, students learned traditional techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering and annealing to complete a personal piece of jewellery to take home.

2021: Plaster Carving – Online

This Workshop ran 10 April 2021 – 24 April 2021

In this unique workshop, students had the opportunity to study stucco/plaster carving with practicing sculptor Adam Williamson. The patterns explored during the workshop focused on the geometric and biomorphic patterns and techniques from Morocco and Levant.

2021: Mixing Colour – Online

This Workshop ran 13 March 2021 – 27 March 2021

Over three sessions, students explored different ways of mixing paint to achieve the colours they want. Working with a limited palette, students were shown two different ways of mixing colour and built up a set of sample boards to use for future reference.

2021: Weaving – Online

This Workshop ran 6 March 2021 – 27 March 2021

In this course, students were introduced to weaving using a weaving frame with yarns and recycled materials. During the week, they were taught a variety of techniques including dyeing.

2021: Embroidery – Online

This Workshop ran 6 February 2021 – 6 March 2021

​During this workshop, led by Creative Dimension Trust tutor Amy Burt, students designed and created an embroidery pattern on a denim piece of clothing from their wardrobe.

2021: PAINTING WITH SPECIALIST BRUSHES – Online

This Workshop ran 6 February 2021 – 6 March 2021

In this course, students experimented with a different brush each week, eventually using all of the brushes and learned techniques to paint an image in their last session.

2020: Weaving – Online
