TCDT 2020-2021 Annual Review

The 2020-2021 Creative Dimension Trust review is now available. The Creative Dimension Trust is now celebrating its sixth year! Through hard work and creativity we have continued our forward progress - without interruption - throughout the pandemic. Alumni Newsletter (Summer 2021)

Edition 2 (Summer 2021)   Over the past few months we have all seen a shift in changes with the gradual opening of facilities. This has also led to the successful re-introduction of face-to-face workshops. 2021: Stone Carving and Wood Turning

In 2021, two exciting workshops were held at the Building Crafts College in London. Some students worked with renowned stone carver, Nancy Peskett, to produce wonderful stone carved pieces while others learned the craft of wood turning. 2021: Enamelling and Flower Making with Metal

In this workshop, students were taught techniques including shaping, bending, hammering, sawing, soldering, texturing and enamelling. Materials used included silver, copper and brass. Enamel is a material made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate by firing, usually between 750 and 850 °C. The powder melts, flows, and then hardens to a smooth, durable vitreous coating.
