Summer 2022: ARCHITECTURAL MODEL MAKING

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects, London, This workshop ran over three weeks during July and August 2022.
Three lucky students had the opportunity to learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment, with uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house model makers. See photos from the workshop here.

Summer 2022: Ceramic Tile Making

Dulwich College, London, This workshop ran for three days from Tuesday 9^th August 2022 until Thursday 11^th August 2022.

Summer 2022: Leatherwork

Dulwich College, London, This workshop ran from Monday 8^th August 2022 until Wednesday 10^th August 2022.
During this course students had the opportunity to learn the basic techniques of leather work, including tooling, construction, dyeing and professional finishings and were able to make a number of leather goods to take home.

Summer 2022: Blueprint Photography

Bow Road Studios, London E3, This workshop ran for two days from Saturday 6^th August 2022 until Sunday 7^th August 2022.
At the end of this 2 day immersion, every student was able to take home four unique artworks created using the exiting, photographic printmaking process 'Canyontype'. See photos from the workshop here.

Summer 2022: ENAMELLING AND FLOWER MAKING WITH METAL

The Goldsmiths’ Centre, London, This workshop ran from Monday 1^st August 2022 until Friday 5^th August 2022.
During this workshop, students were taught techniques including shaping, bending, hammering, sawing, soldering, texturing and enamelling using. Students were able to experience working with different materials including silver, copper and brass. See photos from the workshop here.

Summer 2022: Table Loom Weaving

The Clothworkers’ Hall, London EC3R, This workshop ran for 5 days from Monday 1^st August 2022 until Friday 5^th August 2022.
Over this 5-day introduction to weaving workshop, hosted inside the wonderfully grand Clothworkers Hall in the City of London, students learned different weaving techniques, guided by TCDT tutor, Claire Whelan. See photos from the workshop here.

Summer 2022: Sewing & Dressmaking

The Clothworkers’ Hall, London EC3R, This workshop ran for 4 days from Tuesday 2^nd August 2022 until Friday 5^th August 2022.
Students of all levels were given the opportunity to learn or improve their sewing skills over this four day workshop, held at the historic Clothworkers' Hall. See photos from the workshop here.

Summer 2022: Fused Glass Workshop

National Glass Centre, Sunderland, This workshop ran over 4 days on the 27^th and 29^th July and on the 1^st and 3^rd August 2022.
On this 4-day course, students learned about the exciting possibilities of glass flameworking. Students explored the colour changing properties of Dichroic Glass, learning how the colours are transmitted and change depending on the light source.

Summer 2022: Embroidery

Online, This workshop ran from Monday 25^th July 2022 until Friday 29^th July 2022.
During this online workshop, students designed and created an embroidery on a denim piece of clothing from their wardrobe.

Summer 2022: Puppet Making

Online, This workshop ran from Tuesday 26^th July 2022 until Thursday 28^th July 2022.
In this workshop, led by TCDT tutor Sian Kidd, students designed, made and learned to operate their own unique, sea-themed marionette puppets.
