2021: Wood Turning

Building Crafts College, London, This workshop ran from Monday 26th July 2021 until Friday 30th  July 2021.

2021: GILDING ON TEXTILES – Online

Online, This workshop ran from Monday 26th July 2021 until Friday 30th July 2021.
During this workshop, students learned how to fuse metal foil and gild gold leaf onto textiles. Students had the opportunity to fuse metal foil and gild gold leaf onto their own objects during the week. See photos from the workshop here.

2021: FROM DREAM TO PRODUCT

Zone Creations Ltd, London SW19, This workshop ran for 4 days on Thursday 22nd  July, Friday 23rd July, Monday 26th July and Tuesday 27th July 2021.
During this multidisciplinary four day workshop, students made perspex candlesticks which will be exhibited in a central London store window display. See photos from the workshop here.

2021: Geometry of Structure

Bow Road Studios, London E3, This workshop ran for three days from Thursday 22nd July 2021 until Saturday 24th July 2021.
Over a packed 3 days, using a variety of materials, students made an array of 3-dimensional static and kinetic structures. Including spherical models and a full-size bamboo tetrahedron and geodesic dome. See photos from the workshop here.

Students worked with wood to create beautiful objects.

2021: STONE CARVING

Building Crafts College, London, This workshop ran on Saturdays for three weeks from Saturday 8th May 2021 until Saturday 22nd  May 2021.
Students worked with renowned stone carver, Nancy Peskett, to produce wonderful stone carved letters.

2021: Jewellery Making

The Goldsmiths’ Centre, London, This workshop ran on Saturdays for five weeks from Saturday 17th April 2021 until Saturday 22nd  May 2021.
During this workshop, students learned traditional techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering and annealing to complete a personal piece of jewellery to take home.

2021: Plaster Carving – Online

Online, This workshop ran on Saturdays for three weeks from Saturday 10th April 2021 until Saturday 24th  April 2021.
In this unique workshop, students had the opportunity to study stucco/plaster carving with practicing sculptor Adam Williamson. The patterns explored during the workshop focused on the geometric and biomorphic patterns and techniques from Morocco and Levant.

2021: Weaving – Online

Online, This workshop ran from Saturday 6th March 2021 until Saturday 27th  March 2021.
In this course, students were introduced to weaving using a weaving frame with yarns and recycled materials. During the week, they were taught a variety of techniques including dyeing.

2021: Mixing Colour – Online

Online, This workshop ran on Saturdays for three weeks from Saturday 13th March 2021 until Saturday 27th  March 2021.
Over three sessions, students explored different ways of mixing paint to achieve the colours they want. Working with a limited palette, students were shown two different ways of mixing colour and built up a set of sample boards to use for future reference.
