SUMMER 2025: ARCHITECTURAL MODEL MAKING

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects, London, This workshop ran throughout August 2025, with one student attending each of the two, week-long workshops.
Two lucky students had the opportunity to learn the art of Architectural modelling in an exciting and creative environment, with uninterrupted guidance from one of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris’ senior in-house model makers.

Summer 2025: Perfumery

Floris, London, SW1Y, This workshop ran for two hours on Tuesday 5th August 2025. Age Range: 16 – 19 years old. 
During this session, students had the opportunity to enjoy creating one fragrance formula to take away at the end of the day, in a 50ml Floris bottle.

Summer 2025: Jewellery Making

The Goldsmiths’ Centre, London, This workshop ran for five days from Monday 28th July 2025 until Friday 1st August 2025. Age Range: 14-19 years old.
During this course, students had the opportunity to learn about the craft of silver jewellery making with jeweller Paul Ravn.

Summer 2025: Ceramic Tile Making

Cockpit, Deptford, This workshop ran for three days from Tuesday 29th July 2025 until Thursday 31st July 2025. Age Range:14 – 19 years old.
During this three-day course students designed and decorated their own set of bespoke wall tiles.

Summer 2025: Tassel Fashion Accessories

Wendy Cushing Passementerie Workshop, Muswell Hill London N10, This workshop ran for four days from Monday 28th July 2025 until Thursday 31st July 2025. Age Range: 16 – 19 years old.
During this course, students learned all aspects of the making of fringes, braids, tassels and tie-backs for soft furnishings and interior decoration.

Summer 2025: Masterclass in Patisserie Skills with Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly, London, This workshop ran for one day on Tuesday 29th July 2025. Age Range: 16 – 19 years old.
During this one-day workshop students were taught Patisserie skills by an expert Fortnum & Mason Patisserie chef.

Spring 2025: Hand & Lock – Embroidery

Hand & Lock, London, W1W 8TE, This workshop ran for one day on Monday 14th April 2025.
This workshop was run by Hand & Lock, a hand embroidery company who has a Royal Warrant,  at their central London embroidery school.

Spring 2025: An Introduction to Contour Fashion

Cockpit Arts, Bloomsbury, This workshop ran for one day on Thursday 10th April 2025.
In this exciting and immersive course, students had the unique opportunity to unleash their emerging creativity by experiencing at first hand, the art of contour garment creation. Participants were encouraged to consider prototype progression, driven by their personal design and conceptual thoughts, which culminated in final pieces utilising a variance of mediums.

Spring 2025: An Introduction to Footwear Design

Cockpit Arts, Bloomsbury, This workshop ran for one day on Wednesday 9th April 2025.
In this immersive experience, aspiring designers and shoe enthusiasts were invited to explore the art of footwear creation. Over the course of this workshop, students gained hands-on experience in conceptualising, designing, and prototyping their own shoe designs.

Spring 2025: Introduction To Architecture with Allies & Morrison

Allies & Morrison Architects, SE1 0HX, This workshop ran for half a day on Monday 7th April 2025.
This half day Introduction to Architecture workshop consisted of varying presentations about working in the architectural world and finished with a model making session.
